Since I live in Maine, I have the need for a variety of different types of boots and the opportunity to wear some often. Are your ready? Tall cinnamon leather and suede aigner equestrian style. Tall black leather dansko. Chocolate herringbone print fabric with mock crock and a silver buckle Pliner booties. Black leather Kelly and Katie booties. Patent plum Franco Sarto booties. Chocolate suede calf high LaCanadienne with buckle. Camel suede calf high with wedge heel. Grey suede, sheepskin trimmed mid high Uggs. Dark tan Ariat shoe boots Blue with multi floral mid height Bogs Low black suede with fur trim Khombu for winter. Tall black suede with buckles and fur trim Sorels. Last, and not the most stylish, but the warmest by far are my tall black quilted Sorels with liners to keep my toes warm in temps to -50 degrees, to wear while snowmobiling. Red leather cowboy boots. I rarely wear anything else. -Short black military style boots. -Grey mid-calf boots with laces and zips. They look rather steampunk. -Dark brown/black motorcycle style boots. The only pair I have that don't have laces up the front. -Black laced knee boots with zippers at the ankles I bought two weeks ago. They're actually really comfortable, the only problem area they have is the same problem I have with any shoe or boot when breaking them in (rubbing back of ankle). I have scoured the archives here to read boot threads and it has only fueled the boot fire. Three of anything makes a collection, but I think my "collection" need to grow much, much bigger. I notice I have a buckle theme going on, which I didn't notice before I took these pictures. I will have to keep that in mind when I add to my little boot family. Left to right: Born boots, Arche booties (new), Frye boots (new), Ariat boots. I enjoy a variety of leathers so my boots vary from the stiffer Ariats to the now slouchy Frye leather. Oh.... and the smell of new leather..... love it! I would love to see pictures of everyone's boots if you wish to share here......... Thanks for looking.
