I've had good luck with high-rise skinnies from Urban Outfitters and from Loft, and both are relatively easy on the pocketbook.</p> <p>(In fact, lots of jeans are on sale at Loft right now for $39.50.) They come to just under my navel and are slim fitting all over. They are also on the short side. Nice and stretchy but don't bag out. They were quite reasonable on sale and wash nicely.
