I wear a 7.5 - 8. I'm wondering how high those will be...looks like it will be more than 14.5 which would probably be just a little too high for me. Bummer.

They must adjust the shaft height to the size of the footbed, then. What size feet do you have, julijuli?

They are fairly tall in the shaft. I'm 5ft 7in with longish legs and mine hit just below my knee. I find I can't crouch down for car washing as they are so tall. Re the sizing I usually take a UK 6.5 so I had to round up to the next whole size which gives me the perfect amount of extra room for a pair of welly warmers x

Yes, I do. I'm 5'1" but my legs are proportionally long. My Hunter boots are a US size 6 and I just measured the shaft -- it's 14.5". They go up to about 1" below my knee. If I were one inch taller, they would be perfect. As it is they are a little too tall, but who cares, they're wellies! For me, they are gear, not fashion. They do a great job of keeping my feet and pants dry, they are comfy enough to walk around in all day, and just stylish enough to keep me from looking like a farmer.

All this dreary, rainy weather has tempted me to buy a pair of Hunter boots on E-Bay. Do you all know if they work for shorter gals? From the Nordies site it looks like they measure 15" at the shaft which I think would go above my knees! Does anyone that is shorter (5' 3" - 5' 4") have a pair of these?

Thanks!
