These look like skinnies, which I think is a bit of a new twist on the cargo look (?). They tend to bend up at the edges and stick out, adding volume where I definitely don't need it. The rise and length are spot-on, I like the fit through the leg and after darting the back waistband to accommodate my curvy butt / sway back, they make my butt look great.<br />But!&nbsp;I'm a smidge unsure about the pockets. Does it make them look dated? As I said, the jeans aren't faded at all (I wonder if they've ever been washed, given how fast black jeans go grey), so I think I could unpick the pockets without any tell-tale darker patches. Or should I leave them on in the interests of something a bit different? </p>
