As it turns out, I have more than enough shoes and handbags (surprise! not ...). At first I thought I needed to add five scarves to make capsules, but as I looked on Nordstrom's website, I found two scarves that had enough colors in them that I could take care of all the capsules with just two.</p> <p>On top of it, I realized which handbags are orphans, and which boots. I will consider passing those along and will put them in a holding area until spring.</p> <p>In addition to booties, it's also useful to have boots in the same color, given our Midwestern climate. So for example, I have black booties and I also have black riding boots, and tall heeled boots in black.
