I think that length is just made for high shaft booties like these. I was just in NY and wore my cropped kick flares with high-top converse: different vibe but similar shape. It worked really well. That’s my favourite look here. You could try a slightly bigger cuff to show more boot.</p> <p>I also wear them with cropped jeans that have a step hem (shorter at the front). That shows off the boots. </p> <p>Have you tried them with skirts? I wear them with skinnies that are quite narrow in the ankle, tuck the jeans into the boots. I also have some black skinny Ponte pants that I style with the boots the same way. I think the jeans you’ve tucked here aren’t narrow enough in the lower leg, so they pouf out a bit.
