Cascading cardis are not created equally and you have to get a style they works for you. I have two – both of which I wear loose and one of which I belt. It’s all about the volume in the right place.</p> <p>A round-bottomed cardigan is a little harder to wear, and not for everyone. It’s got to be long enough to go over YOUR bottom. I wear that style loose and belted. </p> <p>The key is soft drapey fabric. I am an inverted triangle/rectangle shape. I can't get used to the extra volume around my middle and losing the waist definition.</p> <p>Does the type of open cardigan that are open in front, rounded in back, less volume work okay for the rectangle/triangle body type? The one that comes to mind is a beautiful lavender sweater that I think Inge posted a month or so ago. </p> <p>I feel like an ice cream cone when I wear big over small... </p>
