Our best guess is they're from the 80's. It's a fairly classic style though i know similiar styles today look fresher. I have worn them out though....I don't really have an adequate fall/winter shoe wardrobe so I couldn't continue to not wear them. Seeing the answers posted here, mine still are a question mark. Guess I'll be posting a pic of mine as well. But some extreme trendy would definitely look dated. For example, the motor boots (all the buckles) are so hot right now, I predict that in 10 years, they WILL look dated, if one is wearing them with activities other than outdoors "riding"-ish activities, they will look totally off pairing them with a dress and jacket like we do now. I think from the 80s, those big square toes with super big chunky heels would look "dated" if wearing them now. Generally I'd say that anything that is good quality and from the 60s or 70s will be vintage rather than dated. Whether it's a fashionable style of vintage is more about what shape or colour is enjoying a resurgence. At the moment, the chunky heeled 70s disco style platform is an emerging trend (see Jeffrey Campbell Lita), but the finer, pointier late 70s shape is more prevalent and less of a statement.
