I am glad I asked the questions because there are many suggestions here that I had not thought of. Joy, yes, I was checking for ideas, but these particular pants don’t seem to be very prominent on the web. La Pedestrienne, I didn’t even think of sneakers! Thank goodness I didn’t get rid of my adidas black and white high tops. Also, oxford shirt, very clever or gingham, very clever. Angie, yes did you help me via PM with Finds. Everything good now. I have never worn white shoes! (except for summer white canvas sneaks) You can always bend my mind. Jenava, great idea. I have a beige sweater with a touch of brown stripes on the cuff. The things suggested can go with blue and brown, and the black background isn’t that prominent in these. You could do an ankle boot or lace-up in cognac, which would probably also go with the brown in your wardrobe. In addition to white, pink and blush tops, you could do olive or sage to pick up on the leaves. Red and burgundy would also play off the flowers. I bet they'd look great with a boyfriend style oxford shirt in pink or white. If you're open to pattern mixing, a black/white gingham or a black/grey buffalo plaid top would look great. White or some shade of pink looks promising if you wear those colors. A top in your favorite shade of white may be something you have or easy to find. White or nude to you foot wear. A denim jacket. I just received these. I am adding a link below because Finds isn't working properly for me. I would have preferred a blue background instead of black because I don't wear much black and my winter coats are either blue or brown. Nevertheless I am tempted to keep these, but I need to find a supporting act. I am having trouble envisioning what to look for. A have a casual lifestyle with lots of walking and occasional dressing up slightly. I wear mainly flats. 4 season climate. With any luck, soon I can go to an actual store for a change and look for inspiration, but if anyone feels like making a suggestion, I would be grateful.
