For me, as soon as I pair something with a blouse, especially if I tuck it in, I feel like I’m going to the office. Knit tops also feel more cozy against the skin. Even better if they are made of cotton, which always feels more comfortable to me than viscose or poly. I’ve got a good selection of knit tops that I’m happy to wear at home. This is a part of my wardrobe that I can wear in lockdown! I’m wearing the Boden sleeveless plum coloured top with black wide leg pants right now.<br /> Tees are good too. Bit more summery.<br /> I’d also go for sneakers or sandals over boots. As much as I luuurve boots, to me they feel too heavy for at home wear.<br /> YMMV of course. And your outfit looks great. A local boutique is doing sales by appointment and I got this black shirt with glitter threads, I really hope this local boutique survives. </p> <p>Being on team wear, I am wearing it with black pants from last year, a black faux fur and gold boots. I love the blouse, the glittery threads lift it. I find it hard to get tops like this, that I enjoy wearing casually. Too many shirts feel corporate and not quite right for the weekend.</p> <p>Any tips on how to style these black pants in a way that I don’t look like I am off to work are greatly appreciated. I like this outfit and would like to come up with some other combinations. </p>
