Something or a few things that are a bit unusual, or distinctive, or extremely luxe. Ideally your windfall could support a shopping trip somewhere fabulous, so you get a few keepsake items plus the memories of the trip (being the social scientist I am, I'm drawing on empirical lit about what gives us happiness over the long haul.
