Another yes on the weatherproofing spray. I admit I wear my suede shoes less even with the spray, just t be sure, esp when it is actively raining outside. I do also have a suede brush(you can get it in any shoe care kit I think).I brush the shoes before and after I wear them.It keeps the dirt off and the suede fro flattening out.

How often you spray depends a lot on how often you wear them and what the weather is. It rains here A LOT. To be a good girl I would say spray every 2 weeks, but I don't honestly manage more often than every 4 - 6 weeks, and it goes okay. I keep my boots in heavy use. I don't know which spray is better than the other. For some reason every shoe store here sells the same brand (Collonil). I believe Pedaq is also good, but I am imagine whatever Ugg sells should be good as well because they make a good quality boot.

Spray and then clean up after each wear before putting them away. Also making sure to air them out if they're ever damp before putting them away. Nice boots.

I have nieces who live in UGGs, and I think the "spray spray spray" mantra is good advice.

Also Sveta, in case they get dirty anyway, check out these instructions: http://www.ehow.com/how_155890.....boots.html

Oh thanks Scarlet. How often do you spray them? Did you find a spray which you like best or they all the same?

Spray, spray, and spray! The waterproofing spray should help keep the dirt off. If they do get dirty and they are sprayed, you can use a clean stiff nylon brush or a clean white eraser and it should work pretty well. I have boots similar to this (not perforated) and they have been fantastic for spring and summer.

I have succumbed to the sand colored suede UGG boots on NAS:
http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/30.....0&P=1
I would have never bought such impractical boots before YLF as boots were always "cold and wet weather" footwear for me. I am slowly buying into the idea that some boots can be for dry weather only :-)
I have debated with myself on the color: they were in black, sand and tan. Somehow black did not appeal to me in this style and I already have tan knee high boots and Angie was for sand as well so I have bought sand.
Anyway I am concerned how to keep them clean. I have bought waterproofing and cleaning UGG stuff as well but I would really like your opinion. I know some of you have suede boots in light colors. How do you keep them clean?
