But many do and Pinterest is one that does.</p> <p>Unfortunately, we all get a service from these sites and, so far, there are only &nbsp;3 ways for them to monetize ( afterall, they do have employees to pay )&nbsp;&nbsp;: charge a customer fee, sell advertising space, or sell data. &nbsp;</p> <p>But I also need to remember to disable cookies. It turned out that Facebook and Pinterest were tracking my web surfing. &nbsp;YIKES.</p> <p>Anyway , here are the directions to set your browser to prevent it. You can click on the browser you have on the top right had side where each browser is listed. &nbsp;I just enabled my "do not track". &nbsp; There apparently are websites that don't abide by this, but Pinterest does...and they were my biggest problem.</p> <p><a rel="nofollow" href="http://donottrack.us">http://donottrack.us</a></p> </p>
