My roots are already showing by the 2 week mark. My original hair color is very dark brown almost black and my actual hair right now is very white. The clairol root touch up product is not available here, but I have used it successfully when I have managed to get it. Here I am using a 10 minute hair product by schwarzkopf. I get the whole thing done professionally every 6-8 weeks and touch up the roots every 2 weeks or so with this product. I have tried the marker sticks but find they rub off and are messy. There are lots of other products. </p> <p>The one thing that I do that is really helpful, is that around my face ( hairline ) I use a toothbrush to brush through the smaller, finer hair. They make root specific kits but I like the regular stuff and stock up when it's on sale anyway. </p> <p>I do have some root spray by Rita Hazan that works in an emergency - it's sort of a super concentrated dry shampoo. $24 at Sephora and the can lasts about 6 months because you only need a bit and only on those in between dye times. Regular dark brown dry shampoo works okay too especially if I mess my part up a bit.
