I can't agree more with the chunky, fun jewelry! Also, belts can be a lot of fun too!

I'm with everyone else too. I use chunky necklaces, big earrings, different sweaters and especially different colored camis underneath, vests, etc. I also have hair that's "dignified" enough to keep me from looking immature, but it's also different enough to add something to whatever I wear. I have some mulberry and plum highlights in my brown hair, and in addition to my blonde highlights and Julia Styles-esque cut, it keeps all my outfits from being too boring. Makeup can really make a difference too. Right now I use green, purple and brown according to the outfit. And finally, I have two pairs of glasses. I change them according to the look I want, and it works well.

Beautiful responses ladies! You can also give yourself a funky haircut/colour and add a pair of mod specs if you wear them. Try adding a dramatic lip colour along with the selection of chunky jewelry.

Two words: BIG JEWELRY. Speaking as someone who has to dress conservatively for work, and hates it, you can funk up your look with a really unusual pendant that sits high enough on your chest to show under your shirt.

I agree with Nicole. I also add interesting/contrasting vests on the outside or funky and contrasting cami's on the inside. For cami's I typically leave one more button open at the top than I normally would have.

Change your jewlery selections around. You can add funky pendants to your chains. You can go for fabric type chokers, or oversized funky jewlery. You could add some volume to your earings. Tie a pretty silk scarf around your neck, or use it as a headband. I also like to wear cropped cardigans with my button down collard shirts.

I wear a lot of collared shirts for work (typically with a skirt). At the moment I just wear little gold hoops, gold chain and watch, which suits my classic style, but I'm kind of bored with this at the moment. Any ideas for how to make this a bit more exciting?
