OK, I am definitely going to return them. It is so odd because the straps are a little loose on me. I couldn't imagine the foot that these sandals would fit!!! It would have to be very narrow on the bottom/sole but very fat/wide on the top to fit the straps. Sigh ... they were cute. On to the next pair!

Too bad they are cute, but agree that the fit is off. There will be others, trust me.

FWIW, I always have this problem, with all sandals, because I have an extra little pouch of fat on the side of my foot. My feet aren't wide, but that side fat is a perpetual issue. So... I think the sandals look nice on you, but only if they're comfortable.

another vote for return. These just dont' fit you right. I've found this style of sandal hard to find in a good fit. Keep looking....

I have really wide feet. My little foot chub always hangs over the side of sandals, so that part doesn't bother me, in fact I can't even see it in the pictures. I must be so accustomed to it. The thing that is bothering me about these is the straps that don't lay flat on your foot. That would annoy me every time I looked down. That is too bad because they are sweet shoes with so much potential. I hope that you are feeling better and that your other foot heals quickly.

I vote return, I would shy away from foot overhang with sandals, front, back or sides. It could affect your gait when you walk.

That's a shame because they are cute! It's odd that some shoes seem cut that way -- I had a pair that my foot overhung a little, and I have a narrow foot! Fortunately they were inexpensive and I donated them.

Return. Your feet shouldn't hang over the sides as the pressure from your foot sitting awkwardly on the edge will create sore pressures points on the undersides of your feet, well that's my experience anyway.

O.K., this is probably a clueless question, but how are sandals supposed to fit width wise? I know that toes shouldn't hang off the front and heels shouldn't hang off the back. Does that mean your foot shouldn't hang off the sides at all? I am guessing "yes".

I found a pair of cute Me Too neutral-colored sandals at Marshall's a while back for $35 but my foot hangs off the side a bit. They are similar to the Me Too Cape Town Thong Sandals available at Nordstrom and Zappos but they aren't thong style and are more strappy. I took a picture wearing them, but it's a little scary with my new broken ankle accessories, and I can't quite stand straight in them.

http://www.zappos.com/me-too-capetown-stone

Should I Keep (Yay) or Return (Nay)? I'm pretty sure I should return them, but I need everyone to tell me that emphatically!
