My feet aren't wide, but that side fat is a perpetual issue. So... My little foot chub always hangs over the side of sandals, so that part doesn't bother me, in fact I can't even see it in the pictures. I must be so accustomed to it. The thing that is bothering me about these is the straps that don't lay flat on your foot. That would annoy me every time I looked down. That is too bad because they are sweet shoes with so much potential.
