If you are wearing them with pants, you can get away with a nude colored sock, or a sock the color of your pants maybe. Not to mention all the flats I own that would be much more comfortable if only I had a pair of socks that I was willing to wear with them. The tiny slipper socks designed for flats aren't much help since the are near the mouth of the vamp often peeks out, and, more importantly, the back of the sock ends up scrunched up inside my shoe rubbing the back of my ankle raw. </p>
