Initally, I could only wear them with stocking socks (like thick opaque tights but sock height) and now I can wear them with thicker socks and they are totally fine. Maybe give them a try with tights and if that's do-able I think they'll give enough to wear socks after 10 or so wears.</p> <p>Loves Moose- they definitely slouch. My Veronicas are 8.5 because I wanted to be able to wear a thick sock, and the fit is roomy yet comfy. I think the 8s would have been like what you're experiencing. I could really use half a size larger, but they don't have my size. I could go with a different color or I could see if these are going to stretch some since they are leather. I can only get my foot in if I have bare feet. Otherwise, with socks, I have to really push my foot in and then it feels like it's really, really squeezing my foot. Do you think they will stretch?
