I have approximately 400cm of hanging space (not crammed but "full) of tops...not counting my jackets or cardigans, or camis or workout wear. This is more than all the rest of my hanging space combined. </p> <p>If I had to take a stab at a number I would guess...100? I really need to edit more. I tend to wear neutral pants and a patterned/colored top and then a more neutral jacket/cardi. My tops are the "pop" in my outfit so I like to have lots.</p> <p>That said, I recently sorted my tops by color and found out I had 5 eggplant tops with different sleeves and necklines. (I have many knits from when the girls where small and I needed to be able to wash and wear without ironing. Spit ups often meant I wore three or four tops a day. I just sent a medium-sized box of primarily t-shirts back to my parents' house to join a drawerful that are kept there. In the meantime, I still have an entire dresser drawer in my apartment just for t-shirts. I just went and counted--I have 40 short-sleeved tees in my dresser here alone, and probably another 20-40 at my parents' house. (Part of this is that I am a semi-collector of vintage t-shirts which I mostly get on eBay. So even ones that I don't wear that often are part of the "collection" and therefore have to be saved for the grandchildren I don't have--hence the 20-40 at my parents' house.)
