Well since Nordstroms seems to beg you to take home and return if it doesn't work, I have returned many items at once and don't feel guilty about it. I haven't worn the things or abused them in any way, so I don't feel bad. Honestly I don't know how Nordstroms stays in business with their liberal return policy.

I'm not so comfortable with returning things; I usually wait until I'm really sure to buy. Maybe 2 items at once max.

Perhaps 7 or 8 items at once -- to Nordstroms, and from on-line shopping.

As an avid online shopper, I seem to have a perpetual "revolving door" of returns in my possession! Often, the return portion is the bulk of the order. I don't feel badly about this as it comes with the territory of online shopping, and I think that vendors who understand this and make returns easy will come out ahead in the long run.

Also, I will often return multiple items to brick and mortar stores if they don't look as good at home as they did in the store (darn those skinny mirrors!) or if they don't pair with other items in my wardrobe nicely. I think that if you're working within the constraints of the store's return policy, there's no reason to feel badly or guilty about returns regardless of the number of items.

Like kellygirl I've returned at least 15 items at at time. But I've noticed, this often overwhelms the SA, so now I will break up my returns into groups of 6 or less.

During NAS, I must have returned 15 items. It was a mix of stuff that I purchased for myself, DD and DH. I probably would have felt uneasy if it was anywhere but Nordstrom.

I am running off to the mall to return 6 items and I think 5 stores. It has been so helpful to see different sizes and colors together with what I am planning to wear with it. YLF has taught me this!

I ordered 4 pairs of dressy heeled sandals then tried them all on with the dress I'd bought for my HS reunion. That way I was able to choose the pair that was comfortable and looked best with the dress. It was a shoe company that does free returns and I knew if I ordered one pair tried it on then ordered the next, etc. it would take forever. I've also ordered the same shoe in two different sizes when I wasn't sure which would fit best.

I also ordered two possible reunion dresses from Nordies. I even asked the gal on the phone if that was OK and she said it was no problem. I did have to pay for the return of the reject but was well worth it to be able to try them on at the same time.

I suspect that keeping things for months then sending them back is a bigger problem for companies than ordering multiples to try on then sending back the rejects right away.

I returned five pairs of jeans once. I tried on one pair in the store and they were perfect. So I bought five more in different washes for a total of six pairs. When I got home, I discovered that only the ones I tried on were long enough! Lesson learned.

I am very serious about keeping tags on clothes and receipts dated and organized. And I ALWAYS take a tape measure with me every time I shop. Without fail.

I've returned at least 8 or 10 items from an online purchase. Sometimes they just aren't what you expect, and since you ordered them (instead of getting them in person), there's no way you could have known. I often will order one item in 3 or 4 different sizes, knowing I will return at least all but one, if not all of the item. Return everything you want to return - even it if means returning everything!

I ordered 6 pairs of shoes (3 styles, 2 different sizes). I am planning on returning 5, well maybe 4 and 1 even exchange if the store has different color but I am feeling very guilty about doing this, I knew I was going to return at least three due to the size but 5, i think is too much, but I can't keep them all

What do you think? Have you ever return that many items at once?
