There's just too much sloppy casual in it to work as luxe for me. The shoes, meh. The jeans, awful. The sweatshirt, meh. The hat, meh. The bag -- well, not my thing but maybe with a different outfit could be fun.&nbsp;As is, it&nbsp;almost passes for a plastic shopping bag.&nbsp;&nbsp;The only redeeming thing I really see is the coat. I would argue that changing out the jeans and shoes could make a look that works, but to me, this looks like she was caught in the middle of a really intense&nbsp;home improvement (demolition?) project and realized she needed to run to Home Depot. I mistook the bag for a plastic one at first--though that could be kind of a cool thing, a sequin bag masquerading as a plastic one. I wonder what makes this a "miss" for the sporty luxe look, though. She has the components--some luxe (sequin bag), some sport (sweatshirt style top, sneakers, baseball cap), a nice coat, boyfriend jeans. A lot of looks look great in pics but are darned hard to maintain in the course of daily living. I try to look for things that stand up to actual living. This one may or may not - hard to tell. For all I know, if might be awesome in real life.
