I don't actually have any dressy tall boots-skinny calves and ankle problems make it hard to find the right ones. I can totally see a strappy sandal and will keep that in mind for summer...high heels for a lovely dinner out.  Roberta, thank you! Yes, the holiday luncheon was great. It's an amazing group of women. This was the Oxford Hotel (Denver). PSA, I got the very last sweater in the periwinkle in the store, Anthropologie. If there's every anything you've seen on line and don't see it in the store, ask. I'd asked my salesperson if there were any other colors in the sweater that I had found already in mint green...she found my favorite color in the back! It's always special and this year was no different. I bought and wore a silver sequined skirt last year and wanted to wear it again this year but didn't want to look EXACTLY the same. So I added a different sweater (Anthropologie Alani cashmere mock neck) and completely changed the vibe with my Blondo Dahlia black booties (I just can't get the YLF clipper on my computer.)  It was a fun change, but in terms of personal style, I felt so much better in the dressier outfit (with pumps). That said, the "very peri" sweater is super comfy and my FAVORITE COLOR!  I'm open to other sweater suggestions with the skirt...I think I remember the charcoal one being a little hot, lol.  1: this year 2: last year
