This is so weird. I totally had this thing where I had to always have mid-calf brown boots and now I can’t remember why. There was a very specific outfit I liked to wear. In any case, I’d wear them with a long straight/pencil skirt right now. And woven mini skirts with leggings/skinnies. And my crop flares. Slim, not quite skinny jeans worked for me. Currently I see a lot of straight pants/jeans tucked into the boots in the advertising and I'm not sure if I'd like that on me ( on a right person it works ). Or under pants that are wide enough to go over them: the advantage is that if I cross my legs or do something else that makes the pant legs ride up, my ankle/lower calf is covered by the boot.
