The pattern isn't so bad, it has lots of purple so I like that. I think it's the design, the neckline in particular, that dates it. There is gather with almost a bow effect I'm not fond of. I tried it with this long cardi, but that left me looking completely shapeless so I'm thinking a more fitted cardi in a bright color (pink?) and maybe a scarf to cover the neckline would work. </p> <p>Any thoughts? </p>
