You know, the excess strap length near the buckle? I HATE it when those bits get bent but it seems to happen no matter how carefully I wrap the straps when I put them away. Grrrr. I think hanging them all would be a better solution. Almost all of them are in dust bags, all with stuffing. I keep a wristlet available for when I am REALLY traveling light. I hang my current bag on a knob in my bedroom. I tend to carry a bag for a few months, get bored and pack it away, and then carry another for a few more months. Seasonally, I guess. These bins are situated on the counter right next to the exit door to the garage in our laundry room. It is the last place I go before heading out for the day and I like choosing my bag last in the dressing process. I have a mirror on the wall in the laundry room, so I can take a quick glance and make sure the bag I chose works with my outfit. Clutches are stored standing up in a basket on a lower level shelf in one of my closets.
