I know that Angie is not a fan of corduroy in general, but I am always drawn to the warmth factor. I like the way they styled in in that picture. I think if you sort of mix and match the dressiness (ie the casual boots and cords with a dressy top half- lace, sequins and what not)- it looks funky in a good way. Vani- if you do a similar color pant/footwear (gray cords with black or gray boots/booties) I think it will work just fine for you.
