Unless your winters are really mild and you find the right kind of insulating sock, they don't really keep you warm enough in winter. But like SarahD8, my experience with rain boots was mixed. Yup they kept my feet dry, but honestly in the cold weather they made my feet feel cold because they weren’t insulated. I bought a pair of shorter rain boots a couple of years ago and found it very uncomfortable to get rained on inside the boots! If I size down I couldn’t fit my foot in. Should I buy them or find a different style boot? </p>
