I would wear these with a short skirt/dress and thick knit or opaque tights if the outfit wasn't too sexy - then the boots give needed edge and aren't trampy at all. I picture them with short but flowy/drapey dresses, bulky sweaters with straight-skirted minis, black velvet, or any number of autumn outfits! If it suits your style, you could also consider fit & flare skirts that are knee length. It was clearly destiny. I love the idea of wearing them with skinnies or jeggings tucked into them, or with slightly looser skinnies cuffed over top, but I cannot figure out how to wear them with a skirt/dress. It seems like a long skirt would be too prairie victorian, and a short skirt would be sort of trampy witch. Am I wrong? Help!  #1 is the boots, #2 is an adorable cold-weather styling idea with scrunchy socks.
