I had a pair of black wide leg trousers in the early 90s that had detachable suspenders, and I wore them attached sometimes. Probably not the best look on me however because of big boobs. I think the look works better on the more modestly endowed. Just yesterday while at the University Bookstore, I spotted this woman (closer to my age than most of the students) wearing BOTH dangling suspenders and functioning ones.
