I tried on several before I found one that worked. Too low and it looks odd, too high and I looked pregnant. The trick is also finding what to go under. They work a lot like an abbreviated fit and flare dress. They nicely emphasize a smaller upper torso/waist.</p> <p>The length of a peplum and the thickness of the fabric play a big part in how they appear though. Some fabrications and peplum styles can make you feel bulky or create a maternity-esque vibe to a top.
