Very cozy and not constricting but they still stay up.<br /> I just ordered some cotton lined wool tights from SockDreams. They are sweater tights made of bamboo (so very soft) Can't comment on their wear just yet as I haven't worn them. My go to tights are Spanx two timin because they are soft, comfy, opaque and reversible (grey/black or dk brown/black) and wear forever. I love the look of the patterns, but I end up adjusting them all day so not my favorite thing. I've had great luck with Liz Claiborne brand (Marshalls or TJ Maxx purchases) that have lasted almost 10 years. Hue is decent and has lots of colors and can be found at major dept. stores as well as discounters. I've yet to try microfishnets, but recently bought some Jockey nude hose that are fabulous. My personal workhorses when it comes to tights are (a) relatively thick, stretchy gray or black tights ('woolly' tights, except not made of wool, but knit cotton/spandex), and (b) black small-grid fishnets. I tend not to wear tights unless the weather forbids bare legs, and if it's that cold, I generally want the thick tights. Hue makes quite a few good ones, and they're perfect for daytime running around town. Today I got black rib knit and an argyle pattern (because patterned legs are fun with an otherwise plain outfit!). For evening, or for not-quite-so-cold days, the fishnets serve me well. Sometimes you can find them cheaper on eBay.<br /> I also like the quality of Falke, but I'm not sure how expensive these are in the US.</p> <p>I love a large polka dot (like Anna linked to, Marianna is wearing them in her recent outfit post).
