I certainly don't go for every trend but enjoy finding those that work well for me. My area is conservative and late in adopting new trends. They get here at least a year late, often 2 years. For example, booties have finally gone mainstream here just this year.<br /> Another plus: The items in the stores go on deep discount the end of the first season because most are not ready to buy them yet. I did buy a pair of winter white "jeans" that are actually a twill fabric. I think I can wear them to work, even though we have a "no jeans" dress code. The cutout shoulder trend is indeed interesting, but I haven't loved it enough to buy anything like that. Ruffles aren't for me, so I'll pass, but I'm sure they look good on certain women. At first I was so happy to be getting a lot of wear out of them.&nbsp; Now I want to get out&nbsp;&nbsp; spring things.&nbsp; One thing I am going to avoid this year is buying too soon.&nbsp; This spring I am taking my time to analyze my wants and needs better, and buy accordingly. After Angie's post about essentials, I am re thinking&nbsp;purchases.&nbsp; So far I have revised my list three times, but some things remain each time.&nbsp; Trying to find slip on sneakers, adding more white like&nbsp;new white jeans, &nbsp;a new skirt are what I am concentrating on.&nbsp; But so far there does not seem to be anything new and exciting out there trend wise anyhow! </p>
