Yes, that is understatement, intended to be humorous.</p> <p>In my defense, part of it is due to wanting to be sure I was ready for the cold—9 undershirts, 8 bodysuits (that I wear essentially like undershirts), 14 pairs of tights, 8 pair footless tights/leggings, and 5 longjohns. And 18 pr socks. Also more loungewear than I needed in Florida. Flannel pjs &amp; nightgown, Woolrich lounge pants, and my Florida winter pjs, altogether 15 pieces, including what I already had here. That’s 77 items. I’m aware that some people have fewer items in their entire wardrobe. I am not excited to be going through so much stuff. It's an entire pallet, 10 suitcase size pieces. So far I've opened a suitcase of sheets and towels. I never would've thought I'd be so happy to see my own bedsheets! But until I find the comforter, there's no point unpacking them. I've also gone through a couple suitcases of clothing, and have most of the clothes and shoes I was looking forward to. So what on earth is all the rest of it? I know there is a duffel with cookware and books, and that trunk has dresses and winter accessories. I remember this feeling; we had about two months between when we packed up our house in Las Vegas and when we unpacked in New Hampshire. DS was just shy of 2 years old at the time, so by the time we received our boxed-up stuff, he'd outgrown most of it. I'd simultaneously lost some weight, and I remember joking, "His clothes are too small for him, mine are too big for me -- too bad we can't just swap!"</p> <p>You know, I love the sleek look of a boot with no side-zip but it's so hard to find pairs that aren't a pain to put on. I don’t think we’ll be buying for a while. </p> <p>So nice that my son now has more pairs of pants than there are days in a week! However, he has grown so much that I think the items in pic 2 are now too small for him. </p> <p>The season for this jacket has probably passed, but I’ll wear it in the spring. I’ve been looking forward to these boots! I had forgotten the issue with them—no laces, zippers or other closures/openers. Took me forEVER to get my feet into them. I’ll have to get a shoe horn. </p> <p>My capsules from last fall &amp; winter are right here (ooh, I see a vest to wear with these boots &amp; pants), but I’ll take my time sorting through everything else. </p>
