The colors are indeed extremely similar—good eye! My goofball son made me laugh while taking pictures, but in the end I don’t think it works well because the pants have so much luster that the sweater just looks dull by comparison. Ordinarily, the poppy red cardi with its bright gold buttons is energetic itself, so I thought they might pair well, but that’s not what happened irl.
