It seems that many units have a fixed number of flashes. I have dark hair and light skin, so the ideal conditions for laser. It has a much larger treatment head than the Tria so it takes about 20-30 minutes to do both my lower legs. Armpits take under a minute each. I got it 6 months ago-- some areas continue to grow back, but they are much more sparse and it takes much much longer for the hair to grow. I'd highly recommend it if you have dark hair/light skin. I'd say it is very successful. My daughter priced this a while back; she was interested in going halvesies with me or one of her sisters, which would have made it a reasonable proposition.
