December is the coolest summer month. My office is air conditioned and my office is freezing every morning (it warms up a bit in the afternoon) so a jacket / sleeves are required at work. All the men wear formal suits, so the temperatures are set so that they are comfortable and I tend to run cold. </p> <p>At home we only have the air con on during very hot days as usually even the hottest day will cool down in the evening due to ocean breezes that blow up from the Great Southern Ocean - we call the afternoon sea breeze the Fremantle Doctor. I wear jean on days when it is about 30C and below, above that and I will wear a sun dress or playsuit on my non-work days. So far this summer Perth has had beautiful sunny days with average temps of about 30C. Sydney and Melbourne have had much hotter weather than us which is unusual, but February is traditionally our hottest month, so the very hot weather is yet to come. Taking photos really helps me see what works and does not work. Sometimes just looking in the mirror, it can be hard to work out why something feels off. I sort of listen to my intuition too and trust myself more than before. It helps if you are not adverse to playing with clashing patterns and colours. Today I wore the gingham dress with a leopard cross body bag - fun because it is unexpected and sort of wrong...</p> <p><b>Jessicams </b>- sometimes I wonder about what my style is - the styles I find hard to make work for me are grunge or earthy folk style. I do like playing around with different colours and styles as I do get bored easily.</p> <p><b>Angie</b> - yes - it is good to set goals, because I know I HAVE to use the Chanel bag... and I loved using it too. Of course, I need to use the other bags as well and as I have been a bit precious with the Owl, then it made sense to also deliberately use that bag this week.</p> <p><b>Karen13</b> - the lavender and lilac are totally new colours to me - not something that I have bought or worn before. So it was lucky that it became fashionable and I was able to give it a try.</p> <p><b>Adriana</b> - I have no problem with getting dressed in the morning simply because I have a few fall back outfits that I can wear and know they work. I repeat outfits often.</p> <p><b>Rachy</b> - thanks!</p> <p><b>Suntiger</b> - Black is my colour this year, so glad I did it proud.</p> <p><b>Suz</b> - I kind of like my work style best - it is just easy to feel pulled together in dressy tailored clothing. For me the challenge has been to get a similar impact with my casual clothing and be practical at the same time.</p> <p><b>Opaline</b> - the Owl bag is so fun and is easy because when I am at work I am not carrying it around with me - it sits at my desk - so I have the joy of a playful element, without it being too over the top when dealing with clients.</p> <p><b>Fashintern</b> - yes playing around with colours is fun. Wearing a pop of colour in an accessory is something that I do a lot - particularly with shoes and bags. I don't have much tangerine in my wardrobe, but I happily wear the shoes with most colours... it means that I don't need to buy a comprehensive collection of items to enjoy a colour.</p> <p><b>Cee</b> - you make me laugh!</p> <p><b>Barbara Diane</b> - I really like that little pink bag too. Can you believe it was a gift with purchase that came with my red bag? Pink was the colour that they gave me. I am not sure I would have deliberately picked that colour if I had been given a choice, but it has been a really good addition to my bag collection.</p> <p><b>Jussie </b>- on weekends I am often wearing jeans and a t-shirt - because it is just so easy and practical.</p> <p><b>Gigi </b>- with my colouring most clear and bright colours work on me, but muddy colours are not my friend - so I mainly steer away from those. It is fun that #2 is one of the favourites, given it is so simple and I am wearing my very practical and comfy flat sandals.</p> <p><b>Anne</b> - the black suit is a good corporate look.
