I get my bra bands tweaked for snugger fit but rarely mess with clothes. The coat is actually a hair big because I ordered my usual size only to find that it ran a bit roomy, but it was sold out of the green in a size down. And that’s fine-it’s not hilariously large and looks just fine layering a thicker sweater or a jacket underneath. I got lucky! I have joined two women's groups in my new area who host a tea each year as a fund raiser, so very interested in the tea you attended. The teas are lovely and affordable. There is entertainment<br /> (author talks, live music or fashion show) plus tea with tea sandwiches and sweets and door prizes. Hats are encouraged, as well as dressing up. I heard that the setting was likely to be sparkly, so I opted to pair this sparkly, feathered, eyelash knit and bubble sleeves deep blue and black sweater with a faux-wrap knit and pleather skirt, comfortable black pumps, and a knotted strand of chunky black beads under my new green wool coat. </p> <p>I did NOT overwhelm the decor. Far from it! I felt like I was in a private, cozy tea room or restaurant, and the tea and food were delicious. </p> <p>(Photos of me were taken later-taking the dog out during low-traffic times of day tend to be a good time to take a pic against this wall.) </p>
