Pic #2 isn't showing up on my phone so I can't comment on how that looks in comparison. For myself, I think I'd prefer it with a turtleneck but I feel self-conscious about a big expanse of neck area. If the v neck isn't too revealing, I might go full on preppy and add a neck scarf tied choker style to break up the exposed area.</p> <p>Now I'm trying to recall if I've ever seen that shirt at Joe Fresh (and why didn't I buy it if so). The dress is very comfy, and it seems to be well made with good symmetry and matching of the plaid. I wear either a S or M and I sized up to the M in this dress. The small fit better up top but was very short, and I didn't think the M looked too big, and Macy's website describes it as "loose fitting" anyways. The background and trim is navy not black, so my next wearing will be with a navy turtleneck and navy tights. I hope everyone is having a fantastic Christmas/Holiday season. </p> <p>#1 - For Christmas Eve service at church, I wore my new plaid sweater dress. I wore it with black tights so it would appear longer, but next time I might just make peace with the shortness and wear it with stockings. It has a high-low hemline which hits me at mid knee in the back. I also decided to go all the way with the preppy-ness of the plaid and wear it with loafers. Since the neckline has a pretty deep V, I wore a high neck tank underneath. I could have worn a turtleneck but the weather was too warm for that. So what do you think, do you prefer the high neck tank underneath or no tank at all?&nbsp;<br /><i>Dress: Tommy Hilfiger/Macy's, loafers - Trotter's<br /></i><br />#2 - More plaid, this time a mixed plaid flannel worn with leopard booties.<br /><i>Shirt - Joe Fresh/JCP, jeans - Resolution Straights/Gap, booties - Corso Como</i></p> <p>On a side note, both the loafers and the booties were past Angie's picks, and both are super comfy and both have been wardrobe workhorses! </p> <p>ETA: I forgot to mention that the sweater dress was actually an Angie pick too! I've already worn it multiple times since it's arrival 1 1/2 weeks ago :)</p>
