Personally it does not deter me from beverages. Going to the washroom via the open crotch scares me a bit, so I always un and re Spanx.</p> <p>Spanx and pantyhose: I usually go hose-less when I wear Spanx. A few weeks ago, though, I wore hose overtop and had some trouble with them sliding down my butt (!!) because the Spanx were slippery.
