I've found a&nbsp;good option&nbsp;in my own closet, black, collarless, 3/4 sleeves, cropped with a covered snap closure at the neckline, that I can only describe as a silky drapey wide-ribbed wool. I've had it for years, and to me is the quintessential winter dressy topper, which is what I've worn it for many times. I can't believe I forgot about it.</p> <p>I also ordered the&nbsp;jacket below, and if the color matches, which it looks like it might on at least one of my computers, I think it would work well with a satiny tank style top, perhaps for a bit warmer weather. I should be able to pick it up in store next week.</p> <p>And Suntiger, I hear you, but I decided at 30 degrees (or lower as winter advances), I feel lined lace pants&nbsp;will be warmer than a dress or skirt. I liked the shape, fits nicely around hip and rear area, elastic waist, and perfect length. </p> <p>The fabric was purchased several years ago, I’ve lost track of when. I intended to make a skirt at the time, but must never have needed it too badly. Ha. The scalloped edge was placed at the hems, and I love the effect. I’m tempted to make more, maybe black.</p> <p>The top is a recent Dress Barn purchase; the jewelry is a black and royal blue rhinestone set from my older daughter’s prom, 21 years ago. It’s been worn a few times by me and relatives over the years. You may also be able to see my second pair of new glasses. Shoes are jeweled, pointy flats.</p> <p>Opinions, please. If you were going to add a topper, what would it be? Thanks in advance! </p>
