Striped dress and glitter mary-janes below, plus semi-opaque tights in eggplant.&nbsp;</p> <p>If I were going to go all-out on a holiday outfit, I think it would be a velvet tux in forest green or midnight blue. I hope you recognize what I mean. </p> <p>Classic holiday looks seem to me to be all about complementary colors or stark difference: red and green, deep blue with silver, red with white trim. </p> <p>Thinking about end-of-year looks, I’d like to come up with outfits in festive color combos from one side of the color wheel, but I’m coming up completely dry. </p> <p>What monochrom-ish holiday looks have you seen recently, please &amp; thank you. </p>
