I was able to purchase a slim tree on sale last month. My first pre-lit tree...what a time saver!<br /> I have a lot of ornaments that I collect as souvenirs when we travel. The slimmer tree meant I had to edit and I decided to have a color theme of red, white, with a touch of gold. (I think next year I will do blue, green, and silver.)<br /> I've noticed a trend for these tree baskets instead of skirts, so I thought it would help give my slim tree some heft at the bottom.<br /> Light gold bow on top to bookend the basket.<br /> Not really desiring to do much more indoors than put the stockings on the mantle. I have up the entryway and kitchen trees.
