I personally feel like my almost country surroundings at hone require something like this. I have a waxed cotton field jacket I never wear &amp; after trying a Barbour today I probably never will. Angie's post today was a good one. I still can't get used to waterproof garments that cover only to the hip without even a hood as the Barbour ones I tried. My Argentinian brand, which slips my mind, at least has a hood in the collar. Btw Rae, I know how you are with breathability...the SA told me neither the waxed cotton nor the technical fabrics at Barbour are breathable.
