Bring photos. One person's honey is another persons caramel. You ask for Butterscoth you get Mocha- yeah- now I'm just saying foods :)</p> <p>I wanted subtle "honey" colored highlights and got something WAY lighter than I expected. They look very natural. But I totally understand the urge to go bolder and LESS natural. Your coloring seems to be similar to mine--at least to what was my "real" hair color. Your eyes are light brown or hazel, right? I don't like my hair to be too blonde or too high contrast. I think the subtle highlights are great. </p> <p>On the other hand, if you want brighter or lighter, go for it. You can have tone it down later. </p> <p>I am fascinated by your necklace. After years of fearing color, I finally had my first highlights put in around 9 months ago. It is past time to update them. </p> <p>Please weigh in with any thoughts you have about what color I should ask for, as well as intensity/brightness. The first time around, I had very subtle honey/blonde highlights put in, but I might be ready to be more bold now.</p> <p>For reference, I have included a current picture of my hair. I know the highlights are hard to see, sorry.</p> <p>Thanks for any advice! </p>
