They can feel comfortable just trying on, but walk rapidly in them before buying. But on a closer look, all the higher shaft ones have higher heels, and vice versa. Interesting, but not helpful for you!&nbsp;<br />I can attest to comfort though. I just went to Sydney for five days, taking two pairs of boots. The lining at the back of the flat ones broke inside, and were not very comfortable! So I wore the higher Diana Ferrari ones all day every day, and they were surprisingly really good. I have not however, found any higher shaft booties that are also<br />1) leather<br />2) not too high heeled - so no higher than 1 1/2 inches (à la Angie)</p> <p>Since my budget only allows for one pair of booties at a time, I need them to be &nbsp;comfortable, durable &nbsp;and able to be worn as my main winter shoe - say 3 - 4 days a week.</p> <p>Has anyone found any like this in Australia? </p>
