What would you do if your bf were shorter than you?? (-:

Just teasing you. (-:

If you are very petite it might be OK, but OUCH, there's no way that's every going to be comfy!

I have several pair of very tall heels but they are platform shoes, which is becoming a dated look. I'm thinking I will get rid of them. It's uncomfortable and not very convenient because you can't really move around in them very well.

Marniemcc, even if you are comfortable in 5 or 6 inches high heels, your feet and spine won't. Just because you are used to not eating it doesn't mean your body doesn't starve, and just because cutting yourself doesn't hurt anymore, it doesn't mean your skin is not suffering.

What I want to say with this is that, even if you get comfortable in really high heels (which really depends on the person and how they tolerate the pain), you shouldn't wear them on a daily basis. Once in a while is more than fine, but not everyday, especially if you commute on foot/walk a lot.

Personally, I can't handle +2 inches daily, and I will do 3 inches on special occasions, but I'm really bad with heels and my feet are cushionless so it doesn't help.

I think it really depends on what you're comfortable with, and what you're willing to put up with as far as comfort.

I want my shoes to be VERY comfortable, because I do a lot of walking, so I've found I can really only take up to a 3" heel on very special occasions, and then only for a few hours at a time. On a daily basis, I couldn't wear traditional heels. I can do a 2"-2.5" heel every other day, but I'd need to give my feet a rest with flats or 1" heels on the off days. Wedge heels are more comfortable, and I could probably do a 2" wedge heel on a daily basis.

I think you'll just have to experiment and see what works for you.
