They're described as mid-rise, but I guess since I'm short-waisted they were basically high-rise on me.<br /> Dottie funny you mention trouser jeans - I got a pair of slim fit trouser jeans at BR in the Sloan today (everything was on sale everywhere). I have a hard time with high rise jeans either being sausage like or too tight at the waist. I've found that theirs come in less at the waist for a given hip dimension. I have had good luck with Kuts, but SA's will try to get you to size way down. You probably will have to go down a size and they do expand a bit when wearing, but resist going down multiple sizes unless it really is the best fit. Our bodies are hard to fit in the high rise because if the waist fits, there is too much fabric in the rear.
