If this style is outside your comfort zone, then this type would not have the comfort level at any price.&nbsp; As for longevity and wear it depends on the sole thickness, material they are made of, construction and factors like that are more important than price. But I have a gift card I can use at Lord &amp; Taylor and I'd like to possibly try a pair of these just in case they work out. Higher shaft booties have been a wish list item of mine for a while. Thoughts on these?&nbsp; (Descriptions put the blue heel at 2.5" which is perfect for me; the others are 3" which is doable IF the boot is well made and comfy.)</p> <p>ETA: I've decided against all of these for now. What I really need to keep looking for needs to tick all of these boxes:</p> <p>- Daytime (heel 2" max) (comfortable to walk in, wear for hours)</p> <p>- High shaft</p> <p>- Interesting color (maybe olive or navy) OR fabrication OR detail</p> <p>I'll keep looking.....</p>
