I don't think it looks bad at all but I know the feeling of being all excited for a fresh look and then coming home disappointed. My hair is wavy, nowhere near as curly as yours, but it can be a challenge for sure. If I get too many layers it just goes straight (but of course not straight enough to look good!) but not enough and I get the dreaded triangle. Lately I have been cutting it myself. I can take off just a little bit so it isn't a huge change but enough to keep it from getting overgrown. The problem is that the back is hard to get at so once in a while I go for a trim. I'm thinking of growing it out a bit so the back is easier to reach.</p> <p>I agree with Janet - a few days can make a huge difference in how it feels and I bet it will grow out great.
