Managing a classroom during the pandemic adds a layer of complications that could easily overwhelm. &nbsp;Hopefully the extra planning and training will result in safety and success for both students and staff. I have packed it so full, zippered the top closed and been pleased with how well it holds my items with out losing its shape. It looks classy and not lumpy and bumpy due to the contents.&nbsp;<div>&nbsp;I find I like using the small zipper pouch like an over sized wristlet. It has everything I need for the few errands I go on. &nbsp;It can hang from my wrist or tuck easily under my arm, leaving my hands free. When I sit down it fits perfectly on my lap, so I don’t need to find a place to set it down.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp; Happy little side note: we hosted a drive through Learning Bag pick up for our families. All parents and kids stayed in their vehicles and wore masks, but we could see the excitement shining in their eyes and hear lots of joyful exclamations. The new learnings, guidelines, and technologies are a steep climb, but today we were rewarded for all the hard work. Those kids! They are so worth the effort. I am in love with my work bags!(Now that is something I have never said before.). I ordered the Rothy’s Essential Tote and Essential Pouch because they are sturdy, sustainable &nbsp;and washable. Germs-be-gone. &nbsp;<div>&nbsp; &nbsp;The tote is fabulous! It has two inside zip pockets. It is roomy enough to carry my laptop, a leather bound notebook, a collapsible umbrella, a small makeup bag, the Essential Pouch (which now carries a small wallet, keys, security badge, sanitizer and masks) and my lunch bag. I still have room to add more!<br />&nbsp; The Herschel l backpack has gone with me every day and carried my “extras” (Lab coats, change of clothes, shoes) as I prep my classroom. &nbsp;I haven’t needed to use it to transport any materials outside yet....no students until the 8th. I am confident that the backpack will be well used. I bought it at the NAS and the price was great.<br />&nbsp; On an extra happy note, I think my new work bags are going to pair just fine with my favorite trench!
